Also, in the same video announcement that Iwata made (where this news comes from), he talked about some interesting changes in Nintendo's promotion campaign to help more people get their Wii connected to the Internet. (Is this promotion campaign available only in Japan?) In short, anyone who helps 10 or more people connect their Wii to the Internet is eligible to download from the Virtual Console all NES games from Nintendo, for free, without limit. Anyone who helps 20 or more people connect to the Internet is eligible to download all NES, SNES, and N64 games from Nintendo, for free, without limit.

God damn! It's probably only Japan.

Can't update yet, because my Wii is still at Nintendo. Sent it in last week for repair. They called today to tell me they were unable to reproduce the error I was getting, but are going to send me a brand new Wii as a replacement ... free of charge.
