Jeez. That looks like Jail time. That's assault.

Is it wrong that I hope that John Cena doesn't get a match at Wrestlemania? The audience cheered pretty loudly when Steph said no to joining the battle royal. Same with the title match. I'd rather not see him altogether. But WWE would end up missing out on too many merch opportunities.

"WWE officials were counting on Reigns to be riding a major wave of momentum by now" poor WWE, they have no idea what fans want.

People loved him before he went solo and proved to the world he couldn't cut a promo for shit.  Watching him, he's actually pretty good in the ring.  HE does need work, but he knows how to wrestle.  He just can't talk.

Here's what I think about the Intercontinental Title (bear with my story).

There used to be an independant wrestling organization in Chicago called the LWF. CM Punk wrestled there before he was famous, but that's neither here nor there . They used to have a belt known as the Hot Potato Championship. The loser in the championship matches would retain the belt. You see, no one wanted to the belt, thus the name hot potato.  This is what the IC belt has become.

What once was a great title that has been held by many greats such as Steamboat, Savage, Michaels, Jericho, etc. now is the belt in the WWE that designates you as top jobber of the company. Barrett always loses, but the belt is never on the line. Now people steal it from each other and it changes hands more often than the WWE Hardcore did. That white leather strap might as well be made out of toilet paper.

And did you guys hear Cole say, "Run Truth Run" last night? Nothing racist about that. Nothing at all.

I'm sorry, but he guy straight up sucks as a wrestler.  He needed Seth and Dean to have to help him out in order to execute a Power Bomb.  The only time that he uses his left hand in the wrestling ring is to fix his hair.  Should I go on?

As a black guy, I find R-Truth's character of the last several years more offensive than that "Run" comment.  Spiders?  Lil Jimmy?  Ladders?  Ugh.

The way the WWE treats the secondary titles is one of the dumbest things I've seen in wrestling. It's straight-up stupidity to devalue your own roster just to keep putting over the top guys, never mind titles that should carry some meaning. I remember when Albert Del Rio was just barely hanging on to the main event picture, like he was the third guy in line or some such and they didn't seem to know what to do with him, so they had him squash the IC title-holder in a non-title match, like the belt wasn't even worth his time. I was so pissed off by that. It's just stupid, there is no better word for it. It makes the title meaningless.

Yeah, I know I've mentioned this before, but New Japan has THREE secondary titles that hold great value. Their IC belt is held by one of their top names and possibly the most popular wrestler in Japan. Their Junior Heavyweight title is a big draw and one of the most respected titles in the world. Now, the NEVER open-weight belt is generating some excellent matches and a lot of attention at every PPV. If they can do that, why can't the WWE?

I feel the same way about using tag teams as jobbers to thrown together main event teams. TOP tag teams are supposed to be better than the sum of their parts. When I used to watch the NWA as a kid, you didn't see a thrown together tag team squashing the Road Warriors or the Free Birds. It's a ridiculous way to cannibalize your own product.

Honestly, I don't really like the McMahon philosophy in many areas.

Had he not gotten injured last year I would have been okay with him winning the Rumble but right now I feel like I've seen too little of him to get behind him.

I know.

Thing is, for me, is that unlike D-Bry, I can't relate to Reigns.
