killzone 2, it can even maintian the awesome graphic when there is a 32 VS 32 madness going on ( and lag free)

Last I played it was 16vs16...

But this is still one of the things that amazes me.

Even when you're in a noob match with idiots that just decide to turn it into a frag fest and a bunch of douch bag assault classers that like to fire their rockets and grenade launchers pretty much, the game still looks just as good as Campaign mode and holds it framerate perfectly fine. I couldn't even get this with Cod4 or WaW. And Socom required me to install 3+GB and couldn't do this...

did u try clan games?

anyway noobs with RPGs online is the only flaw with this game ( maybe also final battle on elite )

Nope. Those go up to 64 players???!!!!

HOLY SHIT...

Yes and no

Yes, clan challenges can support as many as 64 players.

But no, since the release of the game the way people play it has evolved, nowdays clan games have very small scale battles, usually maximum is 5 vs 5, which is obviously a better test of individual skills and team work, but of course you can always create your own clan and play with friends ( if you have that many).

I still remember one of these 60+ players clan challeng I played in the early days, we were moving to the spot where we suppose to place the bomb and I saw literally 20 grenades flying toward me, madness.......

Do cutscenes count?

What's your opinion on cutscenes and no cutscenes

I think they take too much away from the gameplay.

Well I meant cutscenes for MGS4 and Killzone 2, but I find cutscenes are one of my most favorite part about games, especially in MGS4

So it seems as though Killzone 2 is graphically better, but MGS4 looks prettier?

Nothing currently touches Killzone 2 for graphical quality. Artistic quality, now that's a different story.

It think it is the other way around.

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

ah man, don't make me chose!

MGS4, brighter, detailed.

KZ2 - lighting is amazing, and environments so immersive.

both awesome graphically.

The graphics of the new DLC map packs are incredible.

Technicaly, I'd say Killzone 2 has the better effects, lighting etc. However, I prefer the artistry in MGS4. I remember comparison vids showing they'd reduced some of the effects from previous trailers of MGS4 but the artists added a few things and it still looks amazing.

- Killzone 2 has the better graphics, it's all got to do with their special affects which are constantly present in the game world, and too boot have some awesome realistic character animations all while running in native 720p with x2QAA.
-MGS4 has the better character models with more polygons.

All in All, Killzone 2 in general has the better graphics when compared to MGS4, and to boot it doesn't require any installation, so that in it's self is a plus.

The above is for people that like both genres but can't decide, for those that exclusively like only one of the genres and not the other, then your answer is quite clear.

Killzone 2 has better graphics but MGS 4 is the much better game.
