Forums - Sales Discussion - The Official July 09 NPD Thread (Data at 6:30 PM for 4 weeks ending Aug 1)

Data will be out at 6:30 PM EST (11:30 PM in London I believe) for the four weeks ending August 1, 2009

Our preview is here

We expect a quiet month, with Wii up slightly on WSR (it was only out a single week in the period) which Nintendo notes sold 500,000 in the USA between July 26 and August 3 (i.e. two days needed for the 500k won't be in the NPD period). NCAA 2010 should be down from last year.

Should be exciting as always.

I will lol hard if NCAA 360 version will outsell Wii Sports Resort.

Currently playing on PS3: God of War III

Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII

Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger

Edit: Nevermind

I think he just referenced the 360 version, not all combined. Good point though.

Had to change my sig to get some moderator to quit bitching about it......

Don't forget to mention how one of those will sell after this month and the other won't.

I hope the numbers are at least decent.

I think it'll hardly be the trouble. On the plus side, after next month the more exciting months are starting and the recession is starting to lift so perhaps we can finally rejoice again after the numbers come 15oct.

I´m really curious to see some numbers for Little King Story...or will we only see them when the August NPD comes?

Both obviously, albeit only in the lower half of the top ten next month. Look for it to also show up in at least the top 20 for the rest of this year. It's a system-moving evergreen!!!
