Animal Crossing for DS. Not because I didn't like the game but because I didn't get to touch my DS (which was brand new) for about 4 months because my girlfriend wouldn't let go of the damn thing!
Help! I'm stuck in a forum signature!

You bought that ??? You poor poor man... I rented it when a buddy came over for a gaming session, we have a tradition of playing turtels and other retro co-op beatemups... I didn´t even check if it had co-op since I thought that was the only reason turtles games got made... wasted 3€ there... too bad you actually bought it.
Can´t remember when I last regreted buying a game, I always rent a game before I buy it, plus I´m in one of those "rent up to four games permanently and trade them in" clubs so I don´t need to buy that many games...
i found it surprising how many people here said there biggest regret was the "Wii", could a fad be fading out????
Umm, its been a long time since i regretted a purchase. I think last time had to be when i bought a PSP. after awhile i felt it was crap, overpriced accessories, with overpriced games. When i got it, i was kind of like "why the hell am i going to pay console game prices for games that barely are console quality(this was back before the next gen 60 buck games.) within a few months, i traded it in.
I dont regret buying my x360, love it in fact, and i stick to buying only used games from gamestop, so if i dont like them, or feel they are too easy and beat it in less then a week, i just return them. i think its the best way to try out games, probably better then renting, cuz if you dont like it, return and get a full refund, or exchange for another game.
Wario Ware, Boogie(Yeah I know), Red Steel
For the record I love my Wii and have really enjoyed Zelda, Paper Mario, Rayman, Mario Party 8, DDR Hottest Party
Final* Word on Game Delays:
The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.
Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.
Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.
*naznatips is exempt

Let's see. Most of these I didn't buy
FE: PoR on the GameCube. Fire Emblem just belongs on portable systems. This one was to boring and the graphics hurt my eyes.
Battalion Wars: Brainless AI and insane difficulty, I am suprised I finished it.
^^^Then again, 2005 sucked for GameCube^^^
Zelda for Wii: I have the GCN version and it was better.
Donkey Kong Country 2(GBA remake): Way too damn hard. Even harder than the first one.
Breath of Fire (GBA): No where near as good as the second one. Never finished it cuz I got stuck.
Wii Play: Hey a free Wii-mote! yeah w/e
Pokemon Colosseum: Got this about a month before Hell Week 2004. Entertaining but only a tool for transfering pokemon.
Pokemon Diamond: WTF??!!?!?!11 I CANT USE MY MEW IN BATTLE TOWER??? BULLSHIT!!!!1!!111!!! (other than that i spent 175 hours on this game).
Tiger Woods 08 for the PS3. It plain sucks.
I swapped it for the Wii version...
