Well I have been playing inFamous and Gta Iv lost and damned few days now and inFamous has very bad graphics...Cole and his powers are well done but all others are just medicore..

So it just came to my mind, how great game it would have been if it would have had Gta Iv graphics..

Wonder why didin't they make good as or better graphics tho Gta Iv was launched last year.

Is it because of money?Experience with open world games?

And wonder why inFamous has same animation as in Sly coopers..

Bad graphics? play Prototype, hahaha. Infamous is much more fun than GTA4 even with those graphics... Prototype is too!

Beause making an open world game even as close to as good looking as GTAIV costs serious dough. GTAIV is the most expensive games even made in terms of development costs. It would be suicide unless the game was part of one of the most popular gaming franchises ever made. The graphics in inFamous are good for a sandbox game. The real problem is the poor animation in the in-engine cutscenes.

Obviously GTA has better graphics, compare it to inFamous, Saints Row 2, Prototype etc and it always comes out top graphically. There's no doubt GTA4 had a more experienced team, vastly bigger budget and alot more expectation behind them. I think people should expect greater graphics from the likes of GTA4.

never played GTA for the comparision but i thought the visuals on infamous were pretty good. not KZ2 good but expectations are always adjusted for open world games. having played through the game twice i don't remember a single disappointment in the graphics, just a whole lot of love for the game.

1) I think inFamous look better in every way.
2) Good Graphics do not equal Good Game
3) I think I'm the only person alive that things inFamous was a good looking game... perhaps it's just my monitor but inFamous looked alot better than GTA4.
4) Graphics aren't everything.
