If this guy had anything to do with the later Pirate movies or GI Joe (this one just sounds terrible), you better hope he doesn't get involved with a Halo movie. Just once it would be nice to have a good video game to movie translation (other than Mario Bros. of course!).

Are you stupid? Halo is populare in the west. The east couldn`t care less about halo.
Star Wars is populare in every corner of the world because it`s made that way.
Halo is mainly made for western audience, that`s why I dislike it. Most games made for western audience is brainless shooters without charm.

Although I wouldn't compare Halo to Star Wars, I don't think "nobody" knows Halo outside of it's fanbase. Transformers has appeal because it was huge in the eighties during my childhood. The movies suck, the cartoon did not.
