Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Rate Microsofts Conference

7/10

Would have been much better if so much time hadn't been devoted to the twitter/facebook crap and the motion control.  Plus the guy somehow thinking that just because the content is in 1080p makes it not only equal, but superior to disc based movies.

6.5 out of 10.

I don't think the Netal is going to do anything unless it comes bundled.

6,5/10

8/10 for me. Some great games announced, looking forward to a few things, especially Halo Reach and ODST, MW2 and the new Metal Gear. Natal put me right off though.

How technical is your game?

Wow, People are seriously over-rating this conference. Natal is Eyetoy with voice recognition, and there were a bunch of expected exclusives announced. Only one real surprise in the MGS spinoff.

I'd go so far as to say last years conference was better.

MGS in the bag and ALL microsofts exclusives remain exclusive to 360........ Crackdown, Left 4 Dead, Splinter cell conviction ect.

And before i get any "will they remain exclusive" they stated the next 10 games on the show are 360 exclusive.

MGS is just the icing on the cake.

Only because that girl talking about facebook and twitter is "Clueless" and that part of the conference was terrible.

That was Felicia Day and she was awesome as ever!!!

They had a pretty good list of announcements, but they had to with the 360 exclusive list being so sparse. So I'd give them a 7.5 or 8 out of 10.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

I would give it a 8.5/10. They showed alot of good games, although I didnt see Mass Effect 2(does that mean its coming to PS3?). The twitter and facebook stuff dont interest me since I dont care about that crap, the NATAL camera/controller is pretty cool, I hope they utilize it well.

The games lineup they showed was amazing, it just seemed that there wasnt enough for the christmas season in there. But all in all it was a good conference

M$ just done the best innovation ever in gaming history. And the core games looked goddly. Well done M$.

They have a shot at first place this gen. They really do.

Wow, If I could fix my sig that would definitely go in there. You think Microsoft is going to outsell the Wii because of one E3 conference?

Hilarious.
