the only way for this stupid system to actually work is for all men to be gay until their wedding night.

I knew it! You're all gay!

Onyx, you're just dominating this thread! I never knew you were this insightful.

Anyway, I don't think I have too much to add. I also don't think sex has anything to do with love. I think it has a lot more to do with familiarity and such. Sex is more like a sport. Not to say that it has no emotional side at all. It does. I can't allow someone I don't trust at all to see me naked. What if they laugh at me? I have to make sure that they care enough about me to overcome the fact that you can see the shape of every single one of my ribs when I don't have my shrt on.

Quem disse que a boca é tua?

Qual é, Dadinho...?

Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!

Well if you love a girl, even if she had sex with 100 before she still wont be a slut...

Now, if you are not interested in her and she had sex at least once in her life... well then she is a slut/whore/prostitute... I might be a hypocrit, but I dont care. This is my honest opinion and nothing will change it anytime soon ;)

The thing is that most people think like me, just that few will admit it. If you fall in love, you wont care about his/her past but if you dont care about the other one you will still call him a slut/manslut even if he/she is still a virgin ^_^

Just calling somebody a slut is so much fun :P

I like the way that's all about you. I guess if you think of it as a sport, who else could you think it was about?

I am glad most of the men on this thread seem to think this way. I have been told by every woman I slept with that I was the best lover they ever had, and now I know why. The bar wasn't set very high :p

Seems like most women here disagree with what you guys been saying.

I personally think it is about emotions... I understand princess.vic when she says she's "giving" herself to someone. It also feels much better with someone I love so that matters as well. It's just from my personal experience.

Since you care about someone you also care to make them feel good, right? That's my logic anyway.

Guys and girls just look at sex differently for the most part. Its largely a phenomenon of evolution. Girls have a different type of biochemistry and react to situations differently than men do. Sex is also pretty different physically for males and females in terms of who is doing what.

Not to mention, as Rubang pointed out earlier, girls have a lot more to lose from sex gone wrong as they can get pregnant. So their brain tells them to look at it as a more personal kind of attachment. For a guy, at least from an evolutionary standpoint, the goal is to spread as much seed around as possible, so many guys don't look at it from the same perspective. What males and females look for in sex is fundamentally different.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I'm over 30 and I wouldn't sleep with a woman in my age group that had slept with more than 10 men. But it didn't matter so much at times in my twenties.

Yea, I think about sex more like women thinks about it. I know I am not the norm though.
