This really isn't a test for the Wii anyways, it is a test for PlatinumGames.

I always found it strange that people associate software with console. When good software is good software it should be played where ever you have it. Then again maybe it's just a form of jelousy?

Yeah, and with a bigger userbase than the Wii has. Also, notice that the Metal Gear Solid series didn't sell that much better on the PS2 than on the PS3, with a userbase 6 times as big.

I might get this game in the future when the price drop kicks in, i don't want to pay 70$ for a game that can be beat in 4-6 hours, hell I would get more enjoyment from a hooker for those 70$

I never write off a game before I've seen at least a months worth of sales at the minimum. However Madworld seems very niche to me (overly violent, black and white colour scheme) so if I was to guess now I don't think it'd develop the legs that some wii games do. But it will surely do well overall.

I don't care. I do appreciate their good work on style and detail, but the gameplay is just too offensive. They should have spent their creativity on a game less primitive.

On VGChartz and the internet in general, it's consensus that this is the game any true gamer has been waiting for. That's just plain wrong.

At first, third parties tried the kidz-catz-dogz-cookiez casual approach. Then they went for hyper-violent gore games. Now maybe they could start making games that are actually good.

considering that the game have been out only for 1 day they`re not bad numbers, but they should be better...

If what I read is true about the PAL version not supporting widescreen/480p/60 Hz, maybe this version doesn't deserve to sell at all. Better to just use homebrew to play the American version (which may end up being what I'll do).
