95% is fair, but if you think GTA IV got a 10....Chinatown deserves an 11

i know GTA IV is good, but for 9.3 not straight 10!

lol i know.  I don't know how these people can jump to this conclusion so easily.

 

I didn't start this thread for the sake of controversy, I honestly think that Chinatown Wars is much more fun than GTA IV.  It's a better experience, and it introduces more new ideas to the series than GTA IV did.  When the next GTA comes out, it will take more influence from Chinatown wars than it will from GTA IV.

I see no evidence that you yourself have played both, and yet not 6 posts above you are comparing the two games in quality just like Elias.  What's the difference?

The sound in GTA IV alone kills anything that is possible on the DS. Physics and animations are mind blowing. I dont know how people could compare the two and flat out say that Chinatown is better.

I don't know how people could dismiss other's comparison of the two without even ever comparing the games themselves.

Why can't people just say that they think that they are not fun to pay, a very large number of people will agree with you

Also, are people seriously saying that they would prefer to play this than GTA IV when sitting at home? I can't say I have ever played a handheld game that would come anywhere near to something like GTA IV. And also, why does everyone love to hate GTA IV, it is just so good, the attention to detail is just incredible and the storytelling is fantastic. The gunplay is also a massive step above the previous games
