It seems handhelds are the way to go there. Despite both DS and PSP being aging systems from last gen, they're destroying the home consoles.

I'm tempted to say Nintendo needs to do something to boost Wii sales since the PS3 is gaining ground, but screw that, sales of all home consoles are just plain weak. PS3 isn't a problem, Japanese indifference to home consoles is.
