This is what leo-Js problem was last year.... he seems to assume that as soon as the Wii stock is ample enough for the demand that the sales will fall.

The shortages seem to come and go: Wiis sell out in a day, but then more arrive in two of three, so your odds are hit-or-miss. This isn't what I would call a peak.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

The Wii's peak year should be in excess of 35m, so the little white box is just getting started.

Ha, Rol's hilarious.

But seriously the scary thing about Wii's numbers is that it hasn't yet peaked, systems sales usually peak in their third year (though DS has rewritten the rules as of late)..I wonder if the 360 has peaked.

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
