Two thoughts.

First of all, people don't like being told not to buy the games in their hands. I tried to dissuade a woman from buying the new Bond game ... to no success.

What makes this surprising is that just moments earlier, I had convinced her to get Wii Play. I always do that if people are looking to get an extra controller. And people always do it because they like being helped in a positive vein.

Finally, Carnival Games is actually pretty good for what it is. Considering how many clones it has educed (there are at least three other games directly simulating the same experience), it must be doing something right.

Wow, feel bad for the kid that gets that instead of Brawl or something, i really cant say since imo i dont feel the wii has any epic games, but Brawl would have OWNED that crap-fest game anyday.

Crap is fine use of language in Australia. Your approch was fine. Those ladies were both stuck up! They thought they knew best, and their judgement is clearly wrong. Personally, everything about the Wii, Nintendo and it's casual users gives me shivers down my spine. It's too late to save them. Too late!
