i was when it was the psp vs ds time

but after i was the only one with a psp in my group of friends i stopped being one lol

i used to say the ds sucked now i say the psp sucks

if you look at my game list, you can see that I was UBER into the ps2, I used to have over 100 ps1 games as well before I sold a bunch of them....

I'm still kind of bitter over how expensive and such the ps3 is. I was already playing nintendo handhelds, so I bought a Wii, and thats my current main system.

I'm a former Nintendo fanboy and more of a Sony fanboy this generation. The gaming and feature offerings mean much more than sales numbers, popularity, hype, anti-hype, etc. My love for Nintendo was based on my love for their core series. I'm still waiting for a proper Zelda (no GC port).

As far as MS goes, I definitely like some of their less popular offerings this gen like ToV and Lost Odyssey. Gears and Halo mean very little to me. My experience with MS has mostly been bad as a company, so even if I buy their products, you won't see me standing up for them.

How could the PS3 make you stop being a Sony fanboy without you even owning one? Maybe you should get the console first and experience owning one before you turn against it. Sony may not be breaking sales records with the PS3, but they are taking pretty good care of their customers, especially now that they have a well equiped gaming library. I've never had a problem with my PS3 and I just love the design and the features of the system.

I would buy a 360 if it got to GameCube price. But while I can get five PS3 games for the price of a console, no thanks. And the PS3 was there (in my house) first...

I've never been a "Sony fanboy", outside of the PS brand, the company has done nothing decent. But I am a fan of their game division and 1st party stuff, they have much better franchises than Microsoft or Nintendo. PlayStations always have the best games in my opinion, the N64, Gamecube, Xbox and Xbox 360 are all great consoles but simply not as good as the PS1/2/3.
