Forums - Gaming Discussion - Fallout 3 you tricked me, I hate you

This was a game where I buried the best part of 50 hours into playing it and loved every minute of it. My main issue with the game is the fact that theres really only one play style, the others don't seem to work as well as they did in Oblivion. That really kills replayability but since I rented it, im going to get it on PC after they sort the bugs out and the mod community has had a go.

Tease.

I liked Mass Effect, but it was also a very short game with a dissapointing boss fight too. At least it had a new game plus mode

Fact: Earthbound is the greatest game ever made

I read this post the other night and almost replied (but didn't), and then I felt like replying today (as I kept thinking about it) and I see some people share my thoughts on this too.
I've been playing this game non-stop since the day it came out and I've already logged almost 60 hours of gameplay into it and I've only done a few "dad" type missions.
I haven't even been on Xbox Live for a solid week or really watched TV, i've just been playing this game.

:-B

I haven't read any spoilers or walkthrough/guides so I'm not sure where the main quest takes the game/you.
Daddy-o has been waiting for me at Rivet City and I'm avoiding going back there to talk/meet so I can continue exploring and going on adventures.
I've been exploring and finding all of the cool people, places, and situations that you'll find throughout this wonderful (yet destroyed) world.
Games like this are few and far between and anytime a company takes the time and makes the effort to produce something this top-shelf everyone should stop and take notice. Thank you Bethesda!
It's not as epic as Oblivion, but you have to admit it's a VERY awesome game.
I think it's better than Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and Halo 3 (single player) any day.
I feel it should get a perfect 10 (even though it's not a perfect game), but since I know how some of you have been complaining about glitches or wacky save spots (you know, you can save at anytime) it surely deserves a 9.5 or 4 1/2 stars.
Bravo!
Now bring on the expansions and DLC for this game!

lol, I just wanted to say I've completed the game a few hours ago, and I totally understand why you can't continue playing at the end (even if you pick the other choice). =P

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Well when they fix the PC version and actually make it playable in a couple months I'll prepare to be disappointed by the ending.

Thanks for the warning OP. The reviewers are lying to us gamers. Only 6 hours long. WTH?

after playing mass effect.

What??????? What could possably be wrong with MAss Effect?

Once you got the one of the last quests, you were chained to the main story. I wanted to more side quests before my game ended.

I will now cross this game off my list of games to purchase.

How about you try it yourself? The game is good for what it does, it's not trying to be Oblivion 1.5 here.

I'm not a fan of WRPGs or JRPGs, but JRPGs are decidedly worse.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks
