Doesn't seem like an issue. Who plays with the handheld that close to their face???? Little kids that will be yelled at by their parents for doing so....

The PSP3000 has much better color. I think it may be time for an upgrade.
Of course, I will demo it at a kiosk to make sure this scan line issue is just a bunch of overblown BS.

frankly who cares.. The new screen is better overall.

wonder how big the drop will be for PSP. would be amazing if it could stay above 100k units a week for a couple of months

my psp slim is just a year old, so i won't be upgrading anytime soon anyway.

I've only seen the same images about the problem, are there no others? How common is it? How do people really expect Sony to fix a hardware issue with a software update? Why don't these people jsut take it back and get a replacement under warrentee/garentee? How long do you boil an egg for? Why did the chicken cross the road? If 2 shorter sides of a right angled triangle are 8 and 15, what is the length of the other side?


Colours look great on the 3000 though.

The colours look incredible, so that is enough for me, and those lines are not hugely noticeable.

I'm still not sure whether or not to upgrade my slim and lite, because I do put quite a few MP4s on there

I've still got my original PSP phat and was thinking of upgrading, but now I think it'll be prudent and 'try it before I buy it'.
