Forums - Sony Discussion - Play Magazine Enters "Lair", Wants to Have Its Babies

IGN is easily my favorite review site, wait for them, before anyone says anything about it, followed by a metacritics check. Also judging by the amount of hype the average person is given this game, once again none of the PS3 fanboys will be any good for opinions on this game.... AGAIN. But this does give the game a little promise in my eyes.

Good news. Lair was one of the titles that looked good at times but not so hot at others. A few more good reviews and i'll probably get it.

Didnt the company that made Lair say that there gunna stop supporting Sony or am I just misunderstanding stuff?

Pretty sure you're wrong road. I think Factor 5 is still on board for the PS3.

Ya I tried looking up the link but I guess it wasnt them. Maybe it was Incognito.

Edit: Nope it wasnt Incognito, I might have misread something.

There was a rumor that after Warhawk, Incognito and Sony would split or something, but that's old and pretty unsubstantiated.

Edit: Here's the link to that old rumor: http://stupidgamer.com/2007/05/15/incog-and-sony-to-split-ways/

The URL says it all.

Great. I just hope they will include standard control system too...

If by standard you mean "No SixAxis controls", I fear you may be in for a disappointment. As I understand, while flying the dragon, there are certain movements that must be down with the SixAxis.

There were strong rumors that Incog would be splitting with Sony, but nothing ever came of them, so I assume they're false. That's probably what you were thinking of, though.

We will see, so far they always included classic system (Warhawk, Motorstorem). Anyway I think I'm able to get used to it (one of few things PSP can teach you) but I would prefer "normal" control system as an option.

I though Six-Axis was the future of gaming? Was Sony wrong in pursuing it?

I assumed there's flying that needs to be done with the SixAxis, which clears your fingers for pressing important action buttons...why would you not want to use the SixAxis for flying anyway?

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
