When you look at the size of the DS lite's screen, .25 inch isn't something to scoff at.
Now let's hope that this model will come with a wrist strap (with thumb pad). I want to play Super Mario 64 DS on it properly!

but this is not that kind of case for DSi. If a person plays more then 10+ hours per day playing DSi outdoors i would recommened getting an 1 extra battery. just 1 not 5.
People do care of this GBA slot but who don't own a gba or a DS (any version) now? This will sell big in japan, and that's nintendo sole target.

No, it's not a fail. The price isn't really that much and it has the DSiWare. I'm definately going to buy it.
I have only one GBA game... And a Lite. In any case, didn't it say somewhere, that the DSiWare will have new and "classic" games. Just like Virtual Console was originally stated to have.

Hmm I think the OP was right about the camera... it is actually only 0.3 MP, not 3.0. That's a 640x480 image, btw... just the right size for a Wii 480p screen, but pretty small if you're going to put those pics anywhere else.
The price is too high as well... above the PSP even. I hope they keep the DSLite on the market. Is the 0.25" extra screen and the low-quality camera, with a reduced battery and no GBA BC, worth it?
Can't agree with anything, except the GBA slot problem. My most played games are A Link to the Past and the Golden Sun games. Also the reduced battery. No GBA games = fail imo.

I'm pretty sure they're leaving the DSLite on the market. The DSi isn't really a flat out upgrade, I think its main purpose is to attract the people currently not interested in the DS. It isn't so much directed at people on forums like this (gamers), especially seeing how they're adding features that aren't related to gaming (and losing crucial things, like GBA and battery life) while upping the price.
Japanese will eat this DSi!
