Forums - Gaming Discussion - Killzone doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Gears of war

Blame the ignorant Sony Fanboys.

Some turds speak about KZ2 in the past tense....(check out some posts from Leo-J)

it would be amusing if it wasn't so damn irritating.

Is Gears of war better than killzone? Yes. Ok got that out of the way. But to judge the sequels based on the 1st installment isnt exactly accurate. Lets face it how many sequels have been far worse than the 1st?(aka devil may cry2). So lets just wait till both games are released before gettin into this stupid fanboy rants about which game is better, its just idiotic.

And to those wondering about the OP's hate towards sony, here is the link:

I read it and i'm not really sure where all the hatred comes from, just looked like big buisness as usual.

Killzone wasn't a bad game but i didn't really like it.
Played and beat GOW at a friends house. It was pretty good. (though i'm not even really a shooter fan)

I would say something about Sony marketing going heavy on "aspirational" and "bright future" themes is starting to affect some people...

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

Gears of war, E.P.I.C. game in every sense of the word (94% metacritic and a proven POWERHOUSE franchise after only one game)

Killzone 1, Hmmm wasn't it brilliant huh?.............. NOT

Who else personally is sick of killzone and to some extent resistance both always hanging on to Gears of war's coat tail?

If killzone 2 lives up to the hype (which i doubt) then i'll eat my words

What do you reckon folks?

lol whenever i read your posts, many of them are against sony or people associated with sony("fanboys"). You really have that big of a grudge?

Anyways, so what if killzone 1 was bad, does that mean that the developers won't learn from their mistakes and fix them in killzone 2? Also, why make a post like this just to be flamed?

Thats a bit rich coming from you don't you think?

Especially considering you "Bash" the 360 on a constant basis

Pointless thread.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
