I just dont think any other game that bungie makes will be nearly as popular as Halo

They should not (and they won't) stop making Halo games, but they should start developing new franchises and games in different genres.

And I bet Bungie already realized this a while ago.

Yea they have 2 other projects not counting the Halo one. Hopefully one of them is a remake of a franchise and the other completely new.
