The 360 and PS3 have better lineups compared to 2007. I forsee the following:

PS3:

1.MGS4
2.LBP
3.Resistance 2
*Top 3 sellers

360:
1. Gears of War 2
2. Fable 2
3. Ninja Gaiden 2
*Top 3 Sellers

BTW, Too Human will be at least a 9/10. If you watch the new vids and read IGN, 1up or Gamespot previews you will see that they all think very highly of the game.

Also, I anticipate the 360 getting a price cut in NA which will no doubt launch it to new heights.

I blame Wii Fit.

Over 7 months until Xmas 2008. That is wishing your life away.

Hopefully Wii Fit will address the child obesity problem (or obesity in general) here in the US...if it doesn't, I blame Wii Fit

Banjo kazooie 3 whould be there instead of Ninja Gaiden 2. NG2 will be too difficult for casual gamers. BK 3 has a lot more potential and would appeal to casual gamers.

What's with all the multiplats being completely or partially left out?
CoD5 will be on the PS3
EndWar is a game I am very much looking forward to

And for some reason, nobody mentioned Motorstorm 2 and LittleBigPlanet?

I think Sony has the better line up this year, and will do much better then they did last year.

Tom Clancy's EndWar will be over 2 million for the Xbox and about 1 mil for ps3

+10 for someone finally mentioning this boss-looking game!

As for the topic, interesting points so far.  I'd like to add that E3 promises to be an erupting volcano of gaming goodness.

-Nintendo will be announcing their big hardcore gamer joygasmic game, which will likely be only the headliner for a large stream of unannounced goodies.  They'll likely have some sort of storage solution as well (like Iwata hinted).

- Microsoft will show off the X-Mote, along with how it will be used in some games.  They'll most likely have a few aces up their sleeve as well.

-Eager to continue their upward rise, Sony will shed light on Home and bunch of other known quantities, as well as unveil some of their own stuff.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Same could be said for mgs4 and resistance 2 surely.

 Thank you

If you look past the tunnelvision that many people here have (its like radio, six games mentioned in heavy rotation) you will see that 2008 looks promising for all the major consoles, all genres.  Go out and enjoy them.
