If the economy continues to do well, Trump will be re-elected. I don't recall a sitting president with a good economy getting bumped from office.

I don't think it's that simple. Trump can definitely still lose even with a good economy. It's still too early to since since there isn't a Democrat nominee yet.

Maybe, but I'll stand by my prediction.  Lots of "blue collar" states care primarily about the economy.  If it stays good Michigan, NC, Iowa, etc go Trump.  Electoral College dictates the WH, not popular vote.

You can post all the "nobody likes Trump" articles you desire, I read them all back in 2016. How'd that work out?

Blue collar states care about the economy, if it continues to do well Trump will hammer that message, while claiming any ideas being suggested by his opponent will damage the economy. It will be an effective message.

Eh, completely different issues.

But:

a.) It worked out fine.  The 2016 polls were accurate.  The results were within the calculated margin of error.

b.) In 2016, "the other candidate wasn't liked either." The 2016 election was between two very disliked candidates.

c.) I'm also not saying anything definitive that Trump won't win, all I'm saying is that the economy probably won't be the reason.

@c. If Trump does win in 2020 the economy will be why. Economic issues are the only issuess that Trump has a net approval for.

Elizabeth Warren warns another economic crash is close on the horizon.

“'I see a manufacturing sector in recession. I see a precarious economy that is built on debt — both household debt and corporate debt — and that is vulnerable to shocks. And I see a number of serious shocks on the horizon that could cause our economy’s shaky foundation to crumble,' she wrote."

Sounds very similar to what happened in 2008, and if a Democrat wins the 2020 presidency and her prediction comes true (like it was in 2008), you can bet Donald Trump will not take responsibility and blame Democrats and the president.

Lol. I don't think anybody will beat a standing President with high 300's in electoral votes.
I'm also curious, what have the polling places done to actually improve their polling capabilities? The last election pretty clearly showed they are severely flawed.

During the mid-term elections the rust belt mostly elected democrats and are pushing to the left. Trump just won most of those states by less than 1% of the vote in 2016, so it will be tough to get those states yet again unless the democrats royally screw up. And without those states Trump would have lost the election.

It will be hard to have another Tea Party moment, though, when Trumpism is one of the main driving forces that made Republicans forget about fiscal conservatism. That, and Reps already holding all the "Dixiecrat" House seats that still existed before 2010.

How come no republican sings "Lock her up" for Ivanka while she did the exact same thing as Clinton did? Hmmm...
