I swear if Sony keeps doing like this, their position in the market will be endangered.

If that is all they have to show, I would have skipped E3 as well...

I thought it was pretty good, pacing was great and showed off a bunch of neat games. No megatons but that's ok, it's the first one and they are just testing the waters.

Agreed. Plus, they never pushed it like it would have megatons, so I don't know what people were expecting. It's only March. They'll have a bigger one, or a PS meeting, later in the year for the big guns like PS5.

They just announced today that it sold 4.2 million.

Feb 2017-915k

Dec 2017-2 million (~1.1m in 10 months)

August 2018-3 million (1m in 8 months)

March 2019-4.2 million (1.2m in 7 months)

Looks like sales are picking up.

I think these last 7 months will be the peak for PSVR1 performance as a lot came together with Astro Bot receiving high praise from everywhere, Beat Saber releasing, bundles at $199, holidays etc etc. hopefully it can keep a pretty steady pace into the next gen and I expect PS5 to be compatible with it. PSVR2 probably will come 1-2y after that and hopefully will be able to display PSVR1 games aswell.

yes, because the next few shows coming later this year will just be a soundless blank screen

This is like if Nintendo did a direct, and had 80% 3ds games.

Thry spent way too much time on a pheriperal that less than 5% of PS4 users have.

VR is suffer the same fate as 3D.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Not for everyone, but made some noise for me. Waiting on Blood & Truth, Everybody's Golf VR, and FNOF VR..

Man.. I hate it when your girl has to leave my place to come back to you..

Exactly, I say the same thing when people act like a Nintendo Direct sucks just because it doesnt have a dozen new games that cater specifically to them.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

They really shouldn't have focused so much on vr or at least mentioned beforehand that the the main focus would be vr. It would be like if Nintendo announced a direct and and didn't mention it was going to be focused on Indies beforehand, people would be pissed.

Sony shows a decent trailers, infos and gaming news and did a first trial of their own direct shows suddenly people calling Playstation is on doom situation. Sad sad people
If VR is not for you than is not Sony fault, i am into VR and love VR even tho i am playing less on it , i am looking a new way to play games and interactive games like this.

Yes agree so far their first direct shows is underwhelming but for a first attempt is good one, probably they will keep big games and big announcement close to E3.
