Nintendo Direct announced, 2.13.2019.

Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo Direct announced, 2.13.2019.

Things I'd like to see? Any one of these would make the direct a success for me.

Metroid Prime Trilogy HD
FF7 release date
Dragon Quest XI release date
New Zelda (2D would be amazing)
See what Retro's been working on this whole time

Some of my "out there" hopes:
A new (or even old) Castlevania game of some kind.
Star Tropics (do it Nintendo)
A new 2D Metroid game on the switch
Mother 4?

...and I'm out.

Be prepared for 30 min of FE and nothing else.

Also where is my 3DS Direct Nintendo?

German YouTuber and Streamer:
StarCraft and Fallout 4 currently.

Me trying to write reviews:
Octopath Traveler

Amazon June 2019 thread

Possible:

- Fire Emble: TH (confirmed)
- Luigi's Mansion
- Yoshi's CW
- Town (GF's Title)
- Prime Trilogy
- Doom Eternal

No 3DS...and a 2D Zelda was being thrown around in rumors by the same person who predicted the announcement date...the first HD top down Zelda? Yes please.

Hopefully the recently rumored games, Metroid Prime Trilogy HD, Spyro Trilogy, Assassin's Creed 3 remastered all get officially announced. Very much anticipating Fire Emblem, so that's good. Probably gameplay footage of Joker rather than a new Smash DLC character this time. Not expecting Pokemon Gen 8 reveal until closer to E3.

Why is everyone mentioning assassin's creed 3? That game makes no sense. It's not loved like assassin's creed 2, it's not recent like assassin's creed Odyssey and it was already on the wii U and Wii U has a better game in AC4. So it's extremely idiotic to release Ass Creed 3 on the switch. Who even wants that?

It's the game that's coming out next month and the game that has been listed by stores as coming to the switch but not confirmed.  Assassin's Creed 2 may be better - through the remaster is supposed to be improved from the original - but there is no evidence of it while there evidence about 3.

Dont hope too much for Pikmin 4, one insider said that Pikmin 4 was rebooted, but its seems that we will get Pikmin 3 port this at least.

I thought that the games Shigeru Miyamoto once mentioned (Pikmin 4 and Project Giant Robot) turned out to be Hey! Pikmin for 3DS and Nintendo Labo Robot Kit. I believe he said that Pikmin 4 would be quite different than Pikmin 3, which Hey! Pikmin surely was. He also said that the Pikmin franchise would strongly profit from 4K Ultra HD, which currently isn't possible with Switch. So I wouldn't be that optimistic regarding a new Pikmin for Switch in the near future (although I really like the games!).

No, Pikmin 4 and Hey! Pikmin are different games, and they don't have anything with Labo, also Miyamotoo never said something similar. Miyamoto 2 times confirmed existing or Pikmin 4 and he even said that Pikmin 4 was almost finished, one leaker recently said that Pikmin 4 exist but that game was reboted. Pikmin 4 was in development for Wii U first, and Nintendo than start moving game to Switch and probably during that process they reboted games.

Because of this, with only difference that Switch version will be most likely be announced in Direct.

Never played Startropics but seen footage of it and it seems really unique. Never played Mother/Earthbound except for origins, which i loved until my wii u screen went kaput. I would absolutely love either of those! Pls do it Nintendo!

DON'T WIN ME CHIBI BUDDY DON'T WIN ME.

ANIMAL CROSSING NEW LEAF FRIEND CODE:- 5129 1175 1029. MESSAGE ME.
ANDY MURRAY:- GRAND SLAM WINNER!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

I'd like to see a new top down Zelda announced for Switch. Seems about time for a new one.
And more Fire Emblem info, which seems pretty likely to happen.

I'd guess:

- Dragon Quest fighter confirmed for Smash, Dragon Quest Builders 2 release date, Dragon Quest XI S confirmed for 2019 in the West

Think they'll reveal another Smash guest character before we've seen Joker gameplay?

I'd guess:

- Fan-favourite reveal to start: Metroid Prime Trilogy HD
- Fire Emblem: Three Houses confirmed for June
- DLC for Super Mario Party
- Dragon Quest fighter confirmed for Smash, Dragon Quest Builders 2 release date, Dragon Quest XI S confirmed for 2019 in the West
- SNES games coming to Switch Online
- Indie reel and release dates, some hyped indie game dropping shortly after the Direct
- Final Fantasy 7 available after the Direct, 9 gets a release date
- Spyro Trilogy
- Assassin's Creed 3
- Other third-party games (Crash Team Racing, Sonic, FF remasters, maybe a new port from someone)
- Pokemon developer video, Pokemon Direct confirmed for February 27th (Pokemon Day)
- Solid release dates for Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Daemon X Machina
- Release window for Luigi's Mansion 3 and Animal Crossing
- Big reveal to end: 2D Legend of Zelda (2019)

What I'd like to see but I don't think is coming just yet: Super Mario Maker Switch, Star Fox: Grand Prix, Pokemon generation 8 gameplay reveal, Bayonetta 3, new Monolith Soft game.

Pretty much exactly this, apart from the last one. Here, I expect a new Advance Wars or Bataillon Wars title incoming

Finally!

I go in with zero expectations, though.
