Which game (or games) on Nintendo's 7th gen system had the best motion and/or pointer controls in your opinion?

Skyward Sword. The 1 to 1, near 1 to 1, controls were amazing and could have been revolutionary had it not been for the opening tutorial and hand holding.

Wii sports Resort: same as SS, except party style.

Metroid Prime Trilogy: really showed how much better a FPA/S could be with motion controls.

Lastly, Red Steel 2. This game was so much fun. Memorable world and combat. Such a blast.

Off-topic, but besides Metroid Prime 4, I really wish more shooters would make the game around the concept of motion controls.

Sin & Punishment sequel baby !

Switch Friend Code : 3905-6122-2909

I only played a dozen or so Wii games, but of the ones I played Resident Evil 4 definitely had the best.

RE4 Wii was awesome! The ability to aim using the pointer was great!

Godfather was pretty damn good. Then somehow EA lost ability to code for the remote and reverted to waggle lol

Another early EA effort that was really impressive was Medal of Honor Heroes 2.

Besides having smooth and highly customizable pointer controls years before The Conduit, it used a ton of really cool motion controls like pumping the nunchuk to pump a shotgun, dialing a sniper scope in and out by rotating the Wiimote, and lifting the Wiimote to your shoulder to mimic a bazooka, so that the speaker goes off with a launching sound next to your ear. Super awesome stuff.

anything with the IR pointer was great. I really hated the switch from IR to motion plus in skyward sword.

I like the racing games. Mario Kart, Excitetruck and Excitebots.

I've never played those two games, but it's funnily enough one of the games I hope for the most on Switch

The games just look so fun!
