Forums - Movies & TV - Why nobody is talkin about Avengers endgame?

The van Scott used to meet Captain America in the end of the trailer maybe is the key to defeat Thanos, it carries the quantum gate device on its rear.

Could have sworn I'd heard multiple times that Endgame wasn't going to be the title of the movie.

Spoilers man, who wants to watch a trailer for a film they are going to go see? I'm staying away from things like this but alas, you at least told me the title.

Hmm, pie.

Probably cause it was a super boring trailer.

At least it tells the quantum realm will play some role on defeating thanos? Everybody thought ant-man was erased but at the time of the snap he was on the quantum realm, maybe it prevented him from being erased.

It does not tell us that at all.

Cap and so on just assumed Scott was erased because he was nowhere to be found when half the universe's population disappeared, due to him being in the quantum realm. There is nothing that suggests that he would have been erased had he not been in the quantum realm. Maybe it did, but we can't infer that from the trailer. 1 person in all of the universe in the quantum realm not being erased does not show proof that it saved him somehow.

And it better not have much quantum realm shit. Ant Man 2 was unbearable and I feel like I heard the word quantum used 1000x times in that F*ing movie.

Everyone is talking about it. Or did you mean this site?

Trailer was pretty bland tbh compare that to prior MCU trailers it's one of the weaker ones.

Yea, like beyond no action in any sense of the word it was just the people we knew survived already sitting around moping. No plan of any sort to avenge, no tease of like Captain Marvel, nothing.

Felt like the trailer could have just been added to the Avengers Infinity War movie in post credit scene or something..

Pretty much, I was expecting some kind of exciting tease or at least some kind premise being set instead it's like the dressing room of a team who have just been mullered.

Bout it.

If we keep that sports analogy going, its like Avengers Infinity War is the first half and End Game is the second half.

You expect to see the coach at halftime pump up the players and give a rousing speech so they come out swinging and flip the momentum, ect. But nope, we just saw the players sitting in the locker room with their heads down.

I know it's the first of many more trailers to come before release, but it's a super letdown when there is all this build up/hype and anticipation for the first trailer after how Infiinity War ended. Usually even the most crappy movies have trailers that are mostly exciting and make me want to see them. This one is not making the wait hard. I won't be rewatching it ever again, and will forget about End Game by end of work today, until next trailer drops I'm sure.

There's nothing to say, it's Avengers 4.
See you in April!
