36 is correct!

Ughh. You’re right. I’m having such a bad day today. Everything I do is wrong and I keep forgetting everything... I need the weekend.

Oh, wow. I'm... sorry?

Lol. No need. It’s today in general, just now my boss suddenly stood behind me yelling why I didn’t do this and that yet and whatever. It’s over now though, I can go to sleep, or something. But thanks.

Time to get some more hints out for the next few games

#37: The best game (in my opinion) in a series that also serves as half of the inspiration for the genre it effectively innovated.

#36: The train level.

#35: The best non-Final Fantasy RPG on the SNES.

#39
Batman: Arkham City
(Change YoY: -3)

Batman: Arkham City is everything that Arkham Asulym was, but better. Everything that was great about the first game is still great here, and the rest is generally an improvement. The world has more variety and just in general more stuff to do, while still not feeling too large or unfocused. Arkham City is my second favourite open world game from the previous console generation, and still remains very close to the top from the genre. For some reason I just haven't really had any interest in either of the two later games in the series. Maybe someday.

37.  Could be all sorts of games.  For fighting games it is either Street Fighter 2 or Mortal Combat.  For RPGs it is either Ultima 3 or Ultima 7.
35.  Chrono Trigger.

More hints:

#42
- mZuzek can't stop talking about how much he loves this game
- 4 (+1) islands
- Get in the bag

#37
- This 4th main entry in its franchise introduces a lot more verticality
- Only the upgraded version got a Western release

#36
- Fighting game based on a cartoon

#35
- Infamous for its long turtorial/intro (which I actually enjoyed quite a lot)

#37: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
#35: Twilight Princess? Skyward Sword?

Both correct.

Correct on 35, not on 37. On 37 this series is the first part of the name of the entire genre.

When did I allow two games to share a single spot?

Well, one of his guesses was correct.

(Twilight Princess)
