Not sure why you compare videogames with cars 99.9% of people can't afford which is the reason for the low sales but I'm sure even with higher revenue Ferrari or Lamborghini wouldn't be in the list because they are part of  FIAT  Chrysler Automobiles and the Volkswagen Group so that the revenue of them is included in the top 10 at place 7 and 2

BMW is owned by Daimler. BMW is 9th on the list and Daimler is 3rd. BMW has a rev of 111 billion and Ferrari has a rev of 4.0 billion.

The point is when you want to make something of the upmost quality that stands above the rest, it means you have to sacrifice something, and typically that's overall wealth. Ferrari and Take Two (Rockstar) prove you can take more time and create the best while remaining extremely well off.

Daimler failed with the attempt to buy Daimler already like 50 or more years ago. Not sure why you believe Daimler owns them.

Google said so. They were wrong though. Still doesn't really make a difference. Rockstar is owned by Take two so. The point about quality and remaining well off doesn't change. It would have made more sense if I got it right the first time.

Nintendo, unlike EA, still makes games and those cost money.

But Nintendo is the better company than EA. Way better practices and more recognizable characters. -_-

Nintendo is at their strongest in Q3. Might beat a lot of others on the list. Plus EA makes FIFA. There's your answer

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

How in the nine hells are Apple and Google so high? I've never even heard of a first-party Apple or Google exclusive.

The mass population tends to prefer quantity over quality. Which isn't that crazy because would you rather have like 5 guaranteed amazing AAA games each year, or tonnes of variations of indy to AAA games? Some being great, others being wasted digital space.

Nintendo hasn't made a single good AAA game this year. Last year they made 2. I don't think they are nearly as good as you make them to be. Still better than EA which unlike what you said doesn't make many games indie and AAA, they mostly just have sports games and some shooter.

Because Nintendo isnt as big as people think it is?

Because they take like a 25% cut (something like that) out of every game sold on their app store, isn't it common sense?

Quite stupid to classify consoles and controllers as non-gaming revenue.

Do we know why they do that?  Seems nonsensical to me, which makes me think there's some reason that I'm missing.

That's the point. Nin doesn't take the exact same series and call each iteration of it a different name and sell it year after year. (They do use the same characters in different games, and they do port old games and make money off them from time to time as well). EA likes to basically change the name every year or two, and sell it again with minor overall changes. People tend to like EA's approach, since they get more of the same more often, even if the games are fairly broken for some time. You've even got Activision above EA with their yearly rehashed franchises.

The AAA titles remark was just to back up the people preferring quantity point. Would most people say they would prefer only 5 unique high quality games like RDR2 and GOW each year and that's it, or would they prefer all the gaming variation they have to choose from now, good and bad?
