But it isn't funny. Actually, the fact that it makes sense in the context of all your other non-satirical comments is probably the real punchline. For real, I couldn't tell a difference.

If only you had waited to post until I had more time to get into the game, and then put up my real thoughts on it.

A quote from in the Spider-Man review thread.

"It's alot of fun. It don't take long to get used to web slinging and combat. It has alot of rpg elements to it. It's the best Spider-Man game in every respect especially with the story."

I'll add on to that though. I'm about 7 hours in. It exceeded my expectations. I figured it was gonna be a prettier version of the Spider-Man games. It really nails the web slinging and combat. You do feel like you're actually playing as Spider-Man. I'm glad they added in this many rpg elements. Let's you make the character your own. The story is better than most open world games. It's no GOW but it's a really good game.

My only complaints is Spider-Man doesn't seem to hit that hard for a person with super strength when you're beating on grunts and combat feels like it should be faster paced. Hmm. I might just feel like that since I've been playing Bloodborne alot recently.

Pre-ordered it. Probably won't see it until Tuesday still. Too much demand?

I'm a bit disappointed by it so far, but I'm only about three hours in. It feels rather like Assassin's Creed: Syndicate to be honest, except that I'm not enjoying it as much. Obviously a lot of care has gone into it but the open world stuff is really by-the-numbers ... in fact it's the sort of game where I'm going to end up pushing through the plot because the side activities are so dull. I voted “decent”.

Isn't that ... I don't know, your fault? I mean I don't care, just saying bro

Yeah, I should have left that post in the original thread where it made more sense.

I really like Tobey's trilogy but I have not bothered to watch the recent movies. He was great in infinity war tho and his death was heartbreaking.

I have it installed, haven't played it yet. Going to start soon though

I’m headed to bed now bc I work tomorrow. Only got to play 45 min, but I’m really enjoying it so far. Web swinging feels fantastic.

Installing plus updates for 45min was a bummer, luckily iron fist s2 releases the same day. After the first few hours of playing I'm loving it a lot.
