...July 22nd is on a Sunday.  That alone is enough for me to disregard this.

I don't think Nintendo is that desperate to put out an all-out direct like they did back in January 2013. Sure their E3 2018 wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but it's not like they showed nothing but Smash like some would imply. It's not unusual that they can pull a direct out of a hat, but i don't know about July.

New Super Mario World? Even though Nintendo said they wanted to create a game that surpassed the New Super Mario Bros. series?

And this one...FFVII Remake announced on Switch...before the Xbox One...even though the game doesn't have a release date in sight...

I think what happened with this leak is that the user did get a whiff of some truths, but threw in some falsehoods because if he got a couple of things right, we should believe him! This is faker than my aunts boobs. Next.

It's interesting they called the Funko Pop figures for Pokemon two days early. Could have gotten that info legit and then made up a Direct to go along with it.

I must admit its a nice dream list...but, of course, fake.

Sounded possible until Cuphead. Cuphead is a lifetime console exclusive since MS funded it. Also FF7R is a PS timed exclusive so it won't be announced for other consoles before it even launches on the PS4 or PS5 at this rate.
