Where did you get they will be announcing the 22-23 million next meeting? Also does that even line up with shipments? That numbers sounds off to me.....and lastly why will it be fun to watch the adjustments here?

From nowhere. I'm just saying. I don't buy those VGC's numbers. 3 moths ago Ninty announced 17.79m shipped. Are you seriously taking 17.7 sold at 06/09?

My point is: Nintendo WILL announce more consols shipped/sold/whatever, and here in the Neverland they're implying that have what? 2-3 million on shelves? c'mon.

Assuming weekly sales remain stable than it would be ~18.2 million at the end of June and if shipments are ~20.5m (2.5-3m this quarter) than that would be ~2.3m in transit/on shelves which is not uncommon.

When Sony had the market by the balls, not having crossplay with it's main competitor (and pretty much only at the time, poor Wii U) was beneficial for Sony. But now that Switch is quickly getting a very serious contender and visibly teaming up with Microsoft in Minecraft, it's going to make more harm than good.

In the US...maybe a little bit. In Europe, Asia etc?! Not a dent...do you really think a tiny MS player base in those areas will make much of a difference?

I agree it's mostly US&UK which are affected, though the backlash about Sonys practices is heard worldwide, bringing some negative PR in the other countries.

Ya thats not happening.

Shipments were 17.79m as of March 31.

Quarterly non-holiday shipments have been 2.74m, 1.96m, 2.93m & 2.93m

We should be looking at more like 20.5-21 million at the end of June.

Which would still mean a very unlikely 3M Switch consoles on shelves and transit. We still haven't reached March shipment numbers yet (though we will do so next week).

It would be more like 2-2.5m which isnt unheard of

Funny, I thought their motto was "For the Players", not "For our Bank Accounts".

I'd imagine anti-consumer practices meant for nothing but to monopolize the market, won't do so well for that brand image.

it's for the players more then any other console available. great first party support, best third-party support in the industry, best base hardware for gaming, and good consumer friendly prices unlike another company. while xbox x is good, it's far to late in the gen to pay 450$ for a console, when ps5,and new xbox are around the corner, and will will blow it out of the water, can't wait for 60fp gaming on 90% of games.

Which PS4 exclusives run at 60fps?

These numbers are getting boring, its the same thing every week.

I totally agree. It looks like every week is copy paste of the last one.

last of us, GOW aims for 60fps on pro, second son does as well, uncharted 4 is 60fps in multiplayer. ps4 cpu is complete garbage though, and ps5 is likely a 10x jump, expect to see most games have a performance options running at 60fps.

So none of them. Cool.

gt sport does, but i'm not sure what it has to do with ps5, all those games mentioned would run at 60fps, if consoles weren't being held back by crappy cpu's.
