Current rumblngs are halo 6 is a 2020 title. Something being referred to as halo infinity is rumored to debut next week.

In another blow for this year's Xbox first-party lineup, Microsoft has delayed Crackdown 3 to 2019, two sources tell me.

This video was shown back in 2014..... thats 5 years from 2019.
Does this mean Crackdown 3 has had like 6years of developement time? O_o

Here is my theory:

MS was like: OK! We have it all figured out! We are going into a completely new direction with Crackdown. Think "Sea of Thieves in the city" Scrap the campaign, go all out on multiplayer and cosmetics. People love that stuff. There is no way this can fail!

After Sea of Thieves came out: Hey, how about we delay this for a bit and think about this whole thing again.

I'm not really that surprised. There were like three studios working on the game, which is just silly, especially considering how mediocre and drab it looked the last time they showed it off.

Seems like it's been a fiasco from the very beginning. I hope we get the real story one day.

Meh. As I’ve said before, wouldn’t be surprised if this got canceled altogether. Probably scrapping the cloud stuff. They should have just gotten one dev for SP and MP.

During the same conference in 2014, MS announced Evolve, Fable Legends, Phantom Dust, Project Spark, Scalebound and Crackdown 3. You can easily count how many of them are playable...

Maybe they really want to release this one to break the curse...
