None of this matters to me because, imo, Resident Evil died when Capcom invented a new IP and slapped RE4 on it. I won't be paying attention to that franchise again until it plays like the original games (RE-RE CV).

Highly interesting. Never thought it would start with Nintendo. Then again, considering the hardware and the sales it's not really surprising.

I know, that's why I'm angry about. Can I just purchase my game without fear of being unable to play after whatever time the subscription lasts? Without the option of buying this, this sets up a really bad precedent, and it's once again a poor showing from Capcom. If this succeeds, they will not bother with even digital-only copies, and if it doesn't, they will go "look, Switch owners don't support modern games" and just limit themselms to port older titles.
