halo reboot? So they arent gonna finish the trilogy with Halo 6?

Borderlands 3 on game pass, if true, would be huge boost for the subscription service.

edit: the reboot part is probably either a translation error. I think a reboot will come, but after Halo 6.

i hope halo isnt that late, that was the one thing i was looking forward to this year. for me, with no halo, nothing but meh and disappointment so far if true. especially with the loss of a cod title for me.

Find the possibility they are ditching Halo 6 and going for Halo 1 reboot fascinating.

Their last E3 was arguably the worst, this would be better. Both Sony and MS were heavily relying on 3rd parties and delayed games.

Forza HORIZON has always been 30 fps. PC would be the exception.

Seriously? Games announced at E3 are generally coming a year or years later.

A Halo reboot is not happening anytime soon. They will finish the current story.

There are a couple interesting titles but will this be enough to keep Sony from dominating? I don't think so. Sony doesn't even need to have an E3 conference and everyone knows they still have GoT from Sucker Punch, Dreams, The Last of Us Part 2, Death Stranding and Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

If Perfect Dark and Splinter Cell only started development recently and will release in 2019, that is a very short dev cycle that could hurt the quality. I think Halo 5 and Gears 4 also suffered from being rushed to prop up weak Xbone sales.

- Forza Horizon 4 will be weird at 4k 30fps when they marketed so hard the fact that Forza 7 was 4k 60fps.
- I doubt that so many third-party publishers will want to put their games on gamepass on release.
- Splinter Cell being first on Xbox One would piss me off. You either make it exclusive or make it multiplatform, I hate this timed exclusive bullshit.
- Joanna Dark is such a bad name.

This rumor just sounds very safe and fake to me. I have a hard time believing it.

For my part, I really love to have a reboot or even another spinoff in the Halo universe but I would have expected Halo 6 to be at E3.

This looks very good overall anyway. Xbox or not, I'm really looking forward for a new Splinter Cell!
