Uh, so what's your point? That excerpt does not mean they can't announce a new 3DS game set to release this year, if that's what you're trying to say. Or if it's the opposite, that it means they will, then not necessarily, they could just be covering already announced games like Detective Pikachu, this being what I'm hoping for.

Thats pretty much what i expect when it comes to 3DS, maybe 1 or 2 small-medium sized new titles at the most but nothing internally developed by Nintendo or their subsidiaries.

I think it's safe to assume we'll finally see something about the new Fire Emblem game, can't wait ! Also some No More Heroes and a release date for Octopath/Hollow Knight would be welcome

I'd like to see a Fire Emblem reveal, TWEWY release date, and new game. First/third/indie doesn't matter. And since it's a full direct, I'd like to see a Reggie/Bill skit.

I think those are somewhat reasonable expectations.

It's not going to be a huge Direct. They're probably going to focus on games that are alrady announced. However, it's rather unlikely they're not going to announce anything new at all. I'm expecting a bunch of minor games and 3rd party ports, and maybe a new summer title (Fire Emblem?).

The holiday games will probably be shown at E3.

Hopefully you’re right. If what you mentioned happen, I’ll already be happy. They just need to show one new first party game like Fire Emblem and some 3rd party games for it to be decent ~ good.
