Ps4 with the #1 selling game and its the #1 selling hardware too. The boom is back baby!

I never left.

Congrats to PS4 for topping the week, Monster Hunter hype is showing. Also was hoping Xeno 2 would blow my expectations again but at least it’s still in the top 20. Hopefully it stays there for a few more weeks!

That hold is actually good when you think about it. All it needs is an avg of about 500 sales a week to hit 200k by years end (retail). I think it still has a chance at 250k lifetime in japan.

XC2 is GotY afterall

uff - harsh drop for Switch.
The supply issues in japan are insane. Software sales are good as ever.
Arms showing legs makes me happy. Xenoblade seems to be finally winding down but I think it might make 200k lifetime retail in japan, wich is fantastic for the franchise.

Xenoblade is having stock issues. And even winding down, if the game manages to keep selling around 2k every week, it will easily pass 200k and possibly reach 300k.

I'd love that! 300k is almost double of what the bestselling title in the franchise has sold.

Ps4 won.

Anyone can tell me if this has a chance of being the top selling Zelda game of all time in Japan? I know they are not big on Zelda so sales are low across the board.

Ocarina of time on N64 sold 1.45m in Japan according to vgchartz so even with digital included botw doesn't have much of a chance.

I mean, in europe there's only a slight overstock, but thats to be expected where thete are a lot of smaller markets.
US only has enough stock to keep a healthy headway.
So there isn't much they can do exept inctease production, and doing to much of that may hurt in the longvrum.

I look at Xbox One X's total at 6 and wonder how people can call Nintendo a failure for selling 30k. Obviously, we have different definitions for the word failure. PS4 and Switch are both doing well in Japan. No where near failure. Also the stock issue is completely understandable how well the Switch has been selling. Aren't they still breaking records... I mean thats more than good enough. Stop panicking just because the PS4 wins a week.

Just checked the zelda database and to my amazement OOT is only the third best selling zelda game in Japan, Adventures of link sold 1.61m and the original LOZ on the NES has sold 1.69m units. So Botw needs to double it's current sales to reach the top so no there isn't any chance of it selling the most, it would be a miracle.
