Either Star Wars Galaxy or Star Wars Old Republic

Only two MMO's I really played for some extended time. Other games can't compare to an MMO, so not even bothering to think of whether my say 200 hours of Tony Hawk Pro Skater or whatever could match them. Hell even Diablo 2 which I probably have like 500 hours in can't touch an MMO.

Speaking of Diablo 2, did Diablo 3 ever become good. I got it on release and played maybe 20 hours but just didn't feel it like I did 2. I had heard changes happened at times and I see 2 expansions have come out. Is the game good now? It could never obviously live up to Diablo 2's stardom and expectations, but I'm wondering if that same expectations clouded my judgement of game playing and I should give it another go.

I'm guessing you only played during the period where the auction house was open since the end game was really boring during that time. It did get better with the arrival of the Reaper of Souls expansion and the closing of the auction house and what they called Loot 2.0.

They made item drops more class specific, legendaries and set items started to actually drop through regular play, legendary items properties got worthwhile, they added paragon levels to go on top of the character level (which is capped at 70), they introduced the adventure mode, nephalem rifts and greater rifts, set dungeons, seasons and probably other stuff I'm forgetting right now.

It saved the game for me, the gameplay was much more interesting and it brought back the fun aspect of grinding to perfect your set or to get the legendary item that will give you an edge to go further.

Then I'll counter by saying it's only a matter of time before it is!

There are a lot of games I've poured 100s of hours into. In the last few years, Minecraft has been my number one game. I've probably put over 1,000 hours into it. I've also played a lot of the Guitar Hero franchise, Dr. Mario, and Mario Kart 64.

For me, I probably put about the same amount of hours or so as you. I wish you could do a /played like in WoW...

I usually go for Rank 20 every month just for the monthly card back. Then just play arena the rest of the month. My average wins are around 6-7 with a few 12's here and there.

Oh hey. 6-7 average in arena is pretty damn good. I haven't played much arena recently. Perhaps after this new expansion.

Online/Mp:   I'm not sure.  It is between AoE The Conquerors or Unreal Tournament.

Single Player:  Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.  No question about it.

This thread returns to remind me of my 4000+ hours on runescape and my creeping up on 1000 hours on the guitar hero series

Honestly, over all my accounts I've probably got way over this lol :P I made an account at the start of this year after finding out my previous "main" account had been hacked and banned after being inactive for a couple of years, and already I've spent over 200 hours... and this is with very little time compared to when I first started playing and all through school and college where I had SO MUCH time! :P

I've just checked my runemetrics and on my main I started playing again a month ago it's 192 days and 23 hours so  4631 hours, madness.

Yeah I started my account just over 10 years ago back when I was 12 but have had about 4 years of inactivity throughout quitting at various times which is a bit depressing..

Who knows, maybe I'll get bored of it right now just to spite you.

I have over 2800+ hours in Team Fortress 2, don't remember the exact number but I know it's at least at that point but yeah that's the most hours i've ever put into a game.
