Ugh, that fucking Phantasm fight...

Yeah, that fight confused the crap out of me.  You can win via attrition but it takes a while.  Apparently if you have powerful enough AOE, you can take them out faster.

Too bad Rolling Smash was gone for that fight.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I found the real life Poppi.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Finally gonna comment on a Xenoblade 2 thread.

So far I'm in chap 6 I think at around 100-ish hours? Simply put, I love this game. The characters are great, they have great designs, the music is just excellent, the world looks fantastic and the combat system is a lot of fun. This game is just so packed with things to do, I have a hard time advancing the story because there is just so much to do. I'm often doing many quests at a time, while sorting items and managing all my blades. And once I get a new rare blade, that's just more side things to do with them. I also love how they allow the rare blades to develop as well, rather than being cool looking other partners aside from the story blades. The occasional conversations between rare blades and other characters is just a nice extra touch in there.

All that said, there are annoyances here and there. One annoying problem thing being just just checking blades' affinity charts. I wish you could just shuffle through them with L/R in the manage blade menu. Having to back out and check each blade individually is really tiresome, especially when I have so many of them now...

You can shuffle through them use ZL/ZR.

Just finished Chapter 7.

Far out, I can't ever remember a game enrapturing me and infuriating me in such stark contrast; one minute it's making me rage, the next it's absolutely sublime. It's like dating a super hot girl who every now and then spontaneously kicks you in the balls, but you stay with her cos the sex is great.

Definitely on the positive side of the spectrum at the moment; the last two boss fights of Chapter 7 were the least rage inducing in some time, and the ending cutscene was epic.

RNG was very good to me and after 180 hours I believe I have the game 100% complete.

No  more Merc Missions or people willing to hand them out

I can find no side quests.  I can find no field skill areas.  I have every blade's favorites filled in.  I have every blade at S rank trust (I am not going S+ for everyone, gotta save SOMETHING for NG+ when it drops).  Think it is finally time to put it down until the next update come out with the new quests or whatever is on tap.

Honestly, what you unlock at the end of 7 is so absurdly OP, if you are good at the combat or just competent at setting up orb breaks, you can devestate bosses.  PS: you can get a Full Burst with just 4 orbs using that.
