Well, by that same token, the best schools and doctors in the world are in the US, but the bottom level of care and education is so much lower than the rest of the 1st world. That averages out to the US being pretty mediocre in those rankings. Unless the federal government has strong control over local schools (much like China has much tighter controls in place for schools), then a place as large as the US will never be top 5 in education. Far too much disparity in singular cities, much less the quality differences state by state.

The same follows with infrastructure. States that have prioritized it and used federal funding well have done very well at keeping themselves in check. Other states completely squander it and can't even plan for next week, much less how to prepare for growth of years to come.

red states right? that vote republican.

What does that have to do with my bolded "states that have prioritized infrastructure"? Oklahoma is a giant mess and Kentucky has plenty of problems too. Actually, what does that have to do with anything I said?

And I 'll agree it does ultimately fall upon us as an electorate to hold elected officials accountable and demand that better society we want.  Had a lot of marches here lately, but none of it will matter if come November people endorse the current course.  We should demand better not just of our leaders, but of ourselves.

I agree completely. While a lot of cynicism is warranted, I would hope that it eventually leads to those people standing behind a candidate that they feel best represents them.

I like him, mostly cause he's highlighted everything wrong with the establishment (including himself) and cause I don't really mind the USA getting hated on by everyone else. Don't get me wrong, I consider Obama and Hillary worse cause they pretend to be the good guys while behind the scenes they're just instrumenting the same old political games. At least Trump is up front.

Every stunt and blunder Trump makes are deliberate attempts to gain attention. Trump is just an attention seeking idiot and he needs to be constantly in the news feed 24/7. Only the Kardashians, Kanye West and various celebrities try so hard as Trump with their endless attention seeking media stunts.

I must admit Trump has recently started to seriously disappoint me.

The main reason I preferred Trump over Killary was that he seemed to be much less a war-monger than Killary and Obama. It also seemed like he didn't want to further escalate the conflict with Russia.

But apparently, that's all a thing of the past, and he's now trying his best to further advance the doomsday clock.

Republicans have ALWAYS been the more violent political party in the US.
For decades they have been the fiscally irresponsible party - they don't know how to run a budget, and end up jacking up the deficit and costing the US people trillions.
The US dollar on the decline for the first time in more than 5 years, and having its worst year in nearly a decade.

Why do you Americans keep forgetting how bad the Republicans are every single time?

My first time looking at this thread and I haven't read any posts. I just want to say that the new Netflix documentary on his life was incredibly fascinating. Doesn't really present him as a good or bad guy. I was immediately hooked.

He goes all out thats for sure.

Bill Clinton got a blowjob from a secretary (probably many such), and the crazy bitch made sure to storage a dress and use it to blackmail him with.

With Trump there could be sex tapes of russian prositutes peeing on him, while russians knew off the thing and had camra's placed there.
I know its just a rumor but it might be true lol.

He paid a porn star (Stormy Daniels) to sleep with him, and then had her sign a NDA (which he apparently forgot to sign or something) and now shes talking about it, and theres gonna be a lawsuit. Apparently her lawer made threats about there being proof and tapes of it (he posted a picture of a dvd he claims had proof on it).  The feds are investigateing this NDA thingy too and shes co-opperateing with the feds to get to the buttom of it (apparently she had her life threaten and that of her children).

Imagine how crazy it would be if online there where suddenly various sex tapes of the president out lol.

This also goes back to how many women have said hes assaulted them (basically) and those recording's on the bus where he says if you like a woman, you should just force yourself on them, they "love" stars and will let you get away with it. The "grab em by the pussy" remarks.

Exclusive: Handwritten Notes Appear To Back James Comey Claims On Trump

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfTOlLITdTs

(trump's word vs James Comey's, where trump said comey was lyeing and makeing things up, in a witch hunt ect)

=

it shows that he actually tried to influence or shut down the investigation = obstruction of justice? right?

Those that claim theres "no evidence out there that Trump colluded with the Russians" :

from youtube comments (on a trump video):
Polyseed12:

There's absolutely no evidence out there that Trump colluded with the Russians;
except the Manafort and Gates thing
and the Flynn thing and the Papadopoulos pleading guilty thing
and the NRA spent $30 million from the Russians to get Trump elected thing
and the Roger Stone thing and the Cohen thing and the Kushner/Russia secret backchannel thing
and the Carter Page thing and the Jeff Sessions lying to Congress about Russia meetings thing
and the Wilbur Ross thing and the JD Gordon thing and the Erik Prince thing
and the James Comey firing thing
and the Russian hacking/Wikileaks thing
and the "Russia, if you can find those Hillary emails", thing
and the bro-love between Trump Putin thing
and the Trump "I have zero ties to Russia!" thing
and the Eric Trump "we get most of our financing from Russian bank thing"
and the Donald Trump Jr. "our portfolio is made up of a disproportionate amount of Russian money" thing
and the DJT "I sold a $40 million dollar mansion to a Russian oligarch known for money laundering for $100 million that he never lived in" thing
and the Trump business ties with Putin's favorite sports athlete Fedor Emelianenko thing
and the Trump International Corporation's mysterious private server connection to Alfa Bank, Russia's largest commercial bank thing
and the Special prosecutor being named thing and the I won't release my tax returns thing
and the Ivanka Trump vacationing with Putin's girlfriend thing
and the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant in Moscow thing
and the Trump companies business ties to Felix Sater, a criminal felon indicted for stock fraud scheme with the Russian mafia thing
and the FL Group Icelandic hedge fund with massive ties to Putin being heavily invested in Trump Soho thing
and the Rex Tillerson/Exxon ties to Russia thing
and the Russian ambassador at Trump Tower sneaking in and out thing
and the Trump not imposing a single sanction against Russia that was passed by a near-unanimous Congress thing
and the trying to fire Mueller thing (and saying in a interview he did it because of the russian investigation)
and the Donald Jr. meeting in Trump Tower for "adoption of Russian children" thing
and the Trump and Russian meeting in the White House with only Russian media present thing
and the 13 Russians and several companies being indicted thing
and the firing McCabe thing
and the Cambridge Analytica thing

Other than that and a whole lot more, there's absolutely no reason to suspect anything....

I must say that one story I thought would be a total throw away keeps coming back and each time it does it continue to put the President in jeopardy. The story is Stormy Daniels. When the story first broke out I thought it was one of those passing little scandals Trump has pretty much slagged off like he is made of Teflon. It’s not like it was a surprise that he cheated on his current wife since he has cheated on all of his wives.

What makes this story so problematic for Trump is that he, like Clinton and Nixon probably will go down for the cover up and the lie then the actual story. Think about how Mueller was able to get the New York AG to raid Trump’s lawyer all because they continue to try to cover up this affair that basically was a throw away event. Now Cohen faces all kinds of heat because he made a dumb statement and then Trump in all his wisdom verified it by saying he did not know anything about a payment to Daniels. It’s illegal for a lawyer to pay someone on behalf of their client without their knowledge and consent and thus Cohen can be disbarred or even face time in jail. Trump and Cohen tried to play the game by Trump not signing the NDA so they can go this route with the lie but it all just blew up in their face. With the personal threat to Daniels having a play in the whole thing and probably also used as a means to raid Cohen, it’s really starting to get very messy for Trump and this whole affair.

On top of all this you have Republicans dropping out lie rats from a sinking ship because they see the future and it really is starting to look like they will have to make a decision to bounce Trump. No Republican really want to be on that ticket bouncing your own Republican candidate. The fact Paul Ryan called it quits at this point in time seems evident he wants no part in what is going to happen. I never really thought that anything would become of the Russian investigation and Trump would serve out his 4 years but he continue to make dumb mistakes after another and now I really do wonder if he will make it.

Even if Trump makes it for his 4 years, I wonder if a lot of the under table dealings he has done over the past will crawl up to the surface and bite him and his family. When you are President, you are under a microscope and for someone like Trump, it might have been best if he actually lost.

Supposedly She sat down with a sketch artist,... and her lawyer wanted to release it to the public.
He said in a interview, he was asked to sit on it (not release it) and that it might not be needed (hinting that they have a suspect)

If the FBI can find this person, and link them to trump or his lawyer things could go bad.
