And on today's episode of Trump's Ego:

"I gave him [Senator John McCain] the kind of funeral that he wanted, which as president I had to approve. I don’t care about this, I didn't get a thank you. That's OK,"

Attacking the dead again. AGAIN!

Regarding the "I didn't get a thank you" bit, it reminds me of an old Chris Rock joke about James Earl Ray, the man convicted of killing Martin Luther King Jr:

"Now, old James is a little crazy. He seems like the kind of guy who would be walking around in prison on Martin Luther King Day saying 'Everybody got the day off, and no one even bothered to thank me!' "

Not just that but he's trying to take credit for providing his funeral when he had nothing to do with it.  So he's trying to take credit for something he didn't do and complaining that no one thanked him for it.  All while smearing the dead.

I really dont care if a President does not lead by behavior as long as they get good stuff done. He has lead the country for like 2 years now so i'd say he has leadership qualities like working with others.

Do you really believe that or were you just joking?  I'm really hoping it's the latter.

I would say that he could very well have leadership qualities, but not the ones needed to be president. :p

To get where he is now and what he "achieved" in the past would be hard attainable without a bit of leadership skills.

Omg ,does he not have any advisors around that can inform him it is best not to use that kind of language?

Honestly difficult to say if everyone he keeps around him who could give him that advice is a sycophant and won't tell him he's wrong or he just doesn't listen to the people desperately trying to rein him in. Going to be a lot of really fun tell-all books that come out of this administration.

What good are advisers to a person who doesn't listen to them? He certainly has several, but I doubt he listen often to what they say.

Not to mention that disagreeing with him often means losing your job.

So we all get forced to pay for insurance and the insurance companies are free to lower coverage amounts and raise rates...sounds perfectly fine. Anyone with half a brain would realize that the insurance companies under ACA were just given the golden egg. They are free to do whatever they want and still get paid. Typical Liberal nonsense, lets make it sound amazing but fail to deliver anything of substance.

The whole point of insurance is that those who aren't ill or injured pay much or most of the bill for those who are. Almost nobody can afford their own hospital expenses at the drop of a hat, that's why they pay for insurance. You are right that companies can still raise rates, but that is counteracted to some or a large extent by the subsidies. Anyway, I have more to say but I have to run an errand right now.

Alright, so according to the Bureau of Labor Statistic's Consumer Price Index for Medical Care (All Urban Consumers), the rate that costs have increased has been steady for at least the last twenty years. ACA has had very little effect on it.

One last thing. When you say they're free to lower coverage amounts, do you mean the number of procedures, amount they feel like spending per patient, or the number of patients they're willing to insure?

They have lowered what procedures are covered as well as how much they cover per procedure. Go into a Drs office some time and let them know you dont have insurance and request the cash rate. You will be pleasantly surprised to find out that it is at least half of what your insurance company gets billed.

Also for shits and giggles, calculate how much you pay per month for your employer sponsored plan as well as how much you pay out of pocket for things that either arent covered or not fully covered. Separate the two totals. Now calculate how much your insurance company paid towards your claims for the year. I would bet you paid a lot more in just your payroll deductions for insurance than they paid for all of your claims on a given year. That isnt even including what you paid out of pocket after the fact. I would also bet that what you paid out of your check would have covered your medical expenses for the year at a cash rate billed by your Dr.  The best part is that doesn't even include your employers contribution to Insurance which is generally much larger than what you are actually paying our of your check. If your employer did not have to pay for that and instead were able to raise your salary by that amount you could more than pay for any procedures you would need every year and have more money in your pocket as well.

Let's read that again.

"I gave him the kind of funeral that he wanted, which as president I had to approve"

A body transfer is not a funeral.
