But that is a somewhat flawed logic for 2 obvious resons:

1. Nintendo is hardly a home console manufacturer when their main selling point is portability ( in the same manner that the PSP wasn't a home console as soon as HDMI connection was intorduced).

2. Neither MS nor Sony relies noweher near on the same level on exlcusive games as Nintendo does, 3rd party support being key for boths.

So yeah, I would not particulary call this an apples-to-apples comparison. Never the less, its pointless to derail the thread any further, so yeah Pokemon Switch might be pretty damn big. Will it be bigger than the 3DS versions? Only time will tell if it will manage to live up to the hype its already gathering.

I'm still wondering if they'll actually produce a game that will live up to what people imagine when they think of a "console" Pokemon game. I honestly think it will still seem more portable than anything and leave many a bit disappointed, but will sell exceedingly well anyway.

You think like a typical Pokemon handheld game but just with console-graphics?

I am kind of expecting that as well. Hopefully we get an MMORPG but I doubt it knowing Game Freak.

all you guys wanting an mmorpg ..for the love of god NO I rather gamefreak give us hd updates on the 3ds games before an mmo. No way am I buying a pokemon mmo that would be an automatic no buy for me

After USUM's performance this past week I kind of agree it's going to be one of the strongest exclusives released in gaming.
