but what is the hook? Where is the 1X Killer app that you can only play on it? I have a PC powered by a GTX 1080, so I know TRUE 4k gaming, and while it is better than my PS4, is it THAT MUCH better? No.

What was the hook with PS4 when the consoles launched? It had not really many exclusives and those it had weren't really good the first year or two and people bought it in droves. And you could read like a year or two every single day about how PS4 is so much better because of 1080p vs. 900p and so on...

I mean, people could have played on PC, right? 

There are people who only play on console or prefer to play on it and some of them still care a lot about power. It's as simple as that. And it's not as if MS expects it to sell like crazy. They always said they expect it to sell less as the standard XBO.

To be fair there was nothing particulary thrilling on ps4 when it launched but the competition was in the same state : systems were new and you byuy promises and a brand. Now we are three years later and you can really compare the offers between the three platforms.

ouch, this turned into a console war fast. I really love the xbox community and people prefer to play on either pc or console and the people who prefer console should be very excited.

The xbox one x is a really good showcase of how to do great console hardware, sexy, not a lot of noise with the latest format of UHD support and for people who have HDR/4k televisions its a no brainer but even for all the others, multiplatform games are a shockingly good deal on this console.

The fact Richard said the unpatched version of DOOM is the best version on console right now, shocked me, microsoft really delivered and the XBOX and XBOX360 classic games support alone justifies the purchase for me, there is a ton to love about the one X
