The pic was taken yesterday. Yeah, it doesn't have to do directly with Amazon, but, it's an indicator that the scalper market should chill on trying to lock these up if they're still readily available. Lest it turns into another "Xbox One: Day One Edition" thing again, where you can still find those consoles to this day.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 (hurrah for pay to win loot-boxes!), Destiny 2 and Assassins Creed: Origins are just sequels to AAA games, those will hardly push any sales this holiday.

Switch will receive portable Skyrim, Rocket League, Rime, LA Noire, Resident Evil: Revelations Collection, Zelda new story DLC and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The games won't be the problem for the Switch, just the stock availability. 

And as you can see for yourself, Skyrim on Switch is tracking pretty well on Amazon. 

imagine downplaying huge games like Star Wars Battlefront for PS, and then mentioning fucking Rime for Switch as a big deal

Battlefront already released on the PS4, if people wanted to buy the console for that then they would have already bought it back then.

Playstation usually has an unremarkable holiday season line-up as they focus on the rest of the year. Those big third party block-busters are also available on PC and Xbox. 

If God of War or Spiderman would have launched this holiday, now that would have sold systems. 

Microsoft has Xbox One X to boost sales, Nintendo has Super Mario Odyssey and Playstation has a price cut (which Microsoft will likely match). 

So yeah, that's why Playstation has the weakest papers of the bunch this holiday.

There are two Battlefront 2 bundles consumers can buy. Clearly there is a market for both bundles or otherwise, Sony wouldn't have bothered. We can both agree that they will not have the same impact as the Battlefront 1 bundles.

Destiny 2 boosted the PS4's sales to the point that the console was up YOY compared to last September. And considering that the only Destiny 2 bundle had the Pro instead of the standard PS4, that is a pretty impressive result in that it also gave a large boost to revenue, not just unit sales.

Super Mario Odyssey back in as the top game on an hourly basis as of Saturday, November 11th, 2017. The monthly sales numbers for SMO are going to be unreal.

Sony, MS and Nintendo don't care about being first in NPD they care about actual unit sales. To claim Switch is crushing PS4 in the US this year because they won more NPD months is laughable.
