No clue. Why hasn't naughty dog made a game that's as fun as breath of the wild or Mario Odyssey. Some devs prefer to put their time into designing gameplay as opposed flexing graphical muscle

Are you insinuating that Naughty Dog doesn't make fun games?

Uncharted 2 looks great on those screenshots, but it's not really that good in motion on a Full HD Tv. There are tons of better looking games out there, including Zelda, in my opinion. What you're asking for is a realistic art style and, yes, I don't think Nintendo will ever go to that route.

Is Amy Hennig up to anything these days?

Why would someone be against Nintendo making a game with state of the art graphics?

That would be cool.

Nintendo games look great most of the times, but i think as a developer, they are specialist in gameplay, not so much in graphics.

Because they don't want it...

However, metroid prime goes for real life graphics, ritgh? Than metroid prime 4 will be really interesting to see...

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Uncharted 2/3 isn't state of the art graphics in 2017.

They were back in the day, i dont undertand your point.

They don't make games looking like UC beacuse their priority when making games is developing the core gameplay mechanics to their full potential.
Realistic graphics are expensive and unnecessay for the kind of games they make.
Probably the next Metroid will be graphics intensive but it will likely still adopt a less realistic approach.

Not necessarily. Previous MP games on gamecube and wii were rich in detail but also very colourfull as well. It's hard to tell how the artstyle may evolve for HD consoles.
