Forums - Gaming Discussion - 'Amazing' games that you hate!

I wouldn't say hate but The Witcher 3 mostly because I hated the controls he moved way after I moved the stick just felt so off also the games too damn big haha and Bioshock Infinite that game is a full on shooter and dosen't feel like a Bioshock to me 1 & even 2 were much better in my opinion.

Fallout 3

there is no game I hate that I would classify as amazing. unless you count being amazed that people actually liked what I considered a POS

I hate everything about Deus Ex Human Revolution. I could accept that it sucks, just like many other modern sequels to classic games, but what makes me buttmad is that fans of the original like HR and some even say that it's a modern version of the original, which is completely false. It's like saying that dogshit is modern chocolate cake, if you feed the dog with cocoa.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Actually... I originally bought the Witcher 3 on PS4 a couple years ago, and there were so many technical issues that the game was practically unplayable (for me, at least).

- Two-minute load times.
- Really laggy UI (especially as your inventory filled up with more items)
- Unimpressive framerate coupled with stiff controls.

It was always a game I wanted to get sucked into, but it never happened. Until last week, that is. I bought it on Steam for 60% off and it runs absolutely amazing on PC. Load times are just a couple seconds, quick saves, perfect framerate, and it looks much better as well (plus 4k texture mods, etc).

Something random that comes to mind are these two Gamecube games, Lost Kingdoms and Lost Kingdoms II. They were action RPGs where you built a deck of cards to use in real-time combat. Each card would do something like spawn a minion, perform an attack, etcetera, and I loved these games so much when I was younger. I haven't played them in many years, but I can't think of a time anyone has ever even mentioned the games.

Zelda BOTW, people seem to really enjoy this so guess it can be classed in the amazing category, however I hate it.

Add me if you want but let me know youre from this website

Puhhhh, that might get a looooooong list:

Any 3D GTA (the first 2 in 2D where some fun, not great, but ok)
Any 3D Zelda exept Majora's Mask
Any 3D Mario Jump'n run (didn't play Galaxy 2, but I doubt it'll change my opinion. Odyssey, however...)
Any Fallout after Interplay went under (meaning everything starting with Fallout 3)
Any Might & Magic since New World Computing went under (everything since HoMM 5)
Any Halo title (any shooter with limited loadout, really, but Halo takes the cake)
Half-Life and Half-Life 2
Any Class-based arena Shooter (like Overwatch, for instance)
Any Gran Tourismo (or other Racing Sim for that matter)

While we're at it, any Assassin's Creed, CoD, Battlefield

I meant more as a game that received critical acclaim, that you seemed to not like nearly as much. Apologies for the confusion!

All Naughty Dog titles (excluding Jak and Daxter series which I never tried and can't comment on). Crash PS1 games are just average platformers that don't hold a candle to the earlier 2d platformers or the other then-current 3d platformers. Uncharted series combat is not fun and I vastly prefer the new Tomb Raider games. And Last of Us has some of the same problems as the Uncharted series, though it is better than anything else Naughty Dog has done.

Halo. I tried Halo 2 on PC, so all controller issues don;t apply. It was not a well-designed shooter.

Zelda 2: I love this series, but this game is utter crap.

oh thats easy. The world ends with you. Was led to believe it was an innovative rpg. I got an emo game with dumb characters and gameplay that consisted of random swipes to win a battle uuuuugh truly hated that game
