Build new studios to begin work on new and established IPs. These titles would be Exclusive to Xbox One, and should cover a range of genres.

Lower the yearly cost of Xbox Live.

Like the way you think but to this I would add increase rare size. Then multyple titles can be worked at once.

Playstation would finally have a good arcade racing game. Simulation would be left for Gran Turismo. Halo and Gears would do amazingly but they need to be released less frequently.

• Pull games out of the Windows Store and launch a proper, full blown Steam competitor for Windows 10. Everything simply runs on Xbox Live and I'd get as many third party games on the platform as possible, with everything published by Microsoft Studios being exclusive to this service and not being available on Steam.
• Opening multiple studios. At least 1 in Europe or North America and 2 in Japan: 1 to port Japanese games from other publishers to the Xbox One and 1 to develop brand new games. Give both the studios in Europe/North America and Japan a lot of creative freedom but don't allow them to make a racer or shooter, Forza, Halo and Gears of War is plenty for those genres. If the studios in Europe/North America and Japan do good, look at expanding even further.
• Give existing studios like Turn 10, 343 and The Coalition more creative freedom. If they feel like they can abandon Forza, Halo or Gears of War in favor of something better and they show me something good, let them.
• Get back to giving publishers money for timed exclusive content and DLC. It works, it's just stupid to not do it.
• Brand new console in late 2019. $399 with the best hardware possible for such a price, maybe even take a small hit on it. Full Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One backwards compatibility. If you have a Xbox, X360 or XB1 disc it works with this console, and if you own any digital games on either of the previous 3 consoles it works on this new console. Key feature for this backwards compatibility: everything works, not select games like the BC with the Xbox One.
• Besides the normal Xbox controller, launch a DualShock-like controller with the sticks next to each other.

i feel like xbox 360 was huge, because first person shooter was huge last gen...

they need more variety on their games... make your own studio... for more variety of games. money hatting studios wouldnt hurt too esp since they have the resources
