they're not gonna match 360 if they only just hit 1m now and need to reach 1.5m

But it is selling faster than the 360 here so why not?

I don't understand why people are thinking that XB1 won't reach 1.5mm. It is at 1mm now, and probably about half way through its lifecycle. Certainly, sales slow as the generation wanes. But, that waning has not started. They're just about to release a major update to the line. I'd be shocked if they don't reach 1.5mm, assuming the next console generation is 3 or more years away (which seems near certain).

Ahh, I get it now.  I thought it needed to hit 1.5mm total.  

How much did the 360 do in the same timeframe?

It's Japan, so who cares 

Sadly enough for him the Japanese end up caring about other consoles enough to get them to multi-millions, thus disproving his point. Who cares though, lmao.

Edit: This sounded impressive until I read the 360 numbers, then I felt less impressed by both.
