I don't see any excuse, it very simple, you need bigger storage you can very easily expand it.

But you can buy and play games whitout having to buy MicroSD, but if you want more games digital you will definatly need MicroSD.

If 3rd partys want their games on Switch they will release their games, and that doesn't have anything with storage of Switch beacuse Switch storage is very easily expandable. And for the record, Switch is using MicroSD, not MiniSD, and you can bet that evrewhone has few spare MicroSD cards, and prices of MicroSD card are geting lower and lower.

That's a number of 3rd party games that you have to buy a mirco SD card just to play the game or it won't work because the whole game doesn't fit, updates won't fit or the saves won't. The HD storage isn't enough just to play a good bit of 3rd party games so you have to get a memory expansion just to play the games available for it. You don't see a problem with that? You're making excuses for the NS because it's a nintendo console.

Again, but you can buy and play games whitout having to buy new SD, but if you want more games digital you will definatly need MicroSD. No Nintendo doesn't need to upgrade internal space on Switch, if users need bigger storage they can easily expand it. And no storage will not effect on third party negativly, If 3rd partys want to release their games on Switch they will release their games, and that doesn't have anything with storage of Switch beacuse Switch storage is very easily expandable.

Fact is that Switch selling great despite 32GB storage and Switch startet receiving more and more AAA 3rd party announcements despite 32GB storage.

I'm not talking about owning a bunch of digital games and keeping them all on the HD. What I'm saying is that it can't even hold one game without needing a SD card. More than likely, the NS won't even get a quarter of the 3rd party support the PS4 has because of that. Alot of games exceed 32 GB.

For what exactly physical 3rd party games you currently need to buy MicroSD? No I dont see any excuses or problem, becuse if you need more storage, you can very easily expand it.

Again, there is no way that 3rd party will not relase game on Switch beacuse Switch storage, they are very aware that Switch storage is small and that people will expanded it very easy with any MicroSD card in any case, so if they intend to port some game to Switch they will port it regardles Switch storage. Also again, fact is that Switch selling great despite 32GB storage and that Switch started receiving more and more AAA 3rd party announcements despite 32GB storage. Also offcourse that ports for Switch will not have same amont of storage like they are on PS4, Doom is anauced for Switch and that game takes over 50GB on PS4.

That's a really weak excuse for HD space in a 9th gen console that's even smaller than the HD space in gen 7 consoles. Of course, if you only compare HD space in nintendo consoles, it might seem okay or at least the same as a wii u deluxe but it's definitely not enough for even 7th gen 3rd party games, much less 8th gen 3rd party games.

You should be able to buy and play any game with a new console without having to buy SD cards or external HDs.

Back to my main point "I hope that Nintendo eventually comes up with a NS SKU with a much higher internal HD to accommodate 3rd party devs/pubs who want to bring their games to the NS and gamers who want to play those kind of games without having to buy a miniSD just to play the game."

Switch is portable so unless you want to pay 100 or so quid more for more internal space SD cards are a given.

That's a poor excuse too. It's a hybrid console designed to play portable and home console games. It being semi-portable is not a good reason for terrible HD storage. It wouldn't cost anything near that to upgrade the internal HD. Nintendo is just being really cheap at the expense of it's consumers and third party devs to be honest. It could just release a SKU with a better HD for the ones who want more space and for the ones who want to play 3rd party games. I hope it does because it's the smart move and it's better overall for gamers who play games on the NS.

How is cost a terrible excuse? Internal flash memory for portable devices is expensive it's one reason iPhones cost around 800 quid plus and they don't have anywhere near what non portable devices have, you can't put HDDs in portable devices mate and incase you haven't noticed Switch has a portable form factor. Are you willing to pay 400-500 quid for a switch with more memory?

But why Nintendo would do that if any person can easily expand storage with and MicroSD card. Instead paying more for version with bigger storage people can invest that money in MicroSD card of storage they need, or use some MicroSD they alredy have.

They can still expand it without it costing a fortune. It's not exactly small as a iphone. Perhaps they can be little innovative on that front. All I'm saying is that 32 GB is not enough to play alot of 3rd party games on the NS and that will likely turn off 3rd party devs. It woudn't hurt for nintendo to create another sku to offset it. Doesn't nintendo offer more than one sku on their consoles? Then why are some of you so against the idea of a common sense fix. I'm not saying that nintendo should replace all sku with the upgraded option.

Google it so you can see for yourself. The fact that you're not aware of them makes it clear you're not that knowledgable about why it needs more storage. It's a little redundant debating with you over this.

The break down of the Switch shows the is no space in the device, you've offered no alternative way to increase storage with out significantly increasing costs yet still harp on about they can do it. Here's a news flash for you they've given owners an option for more storage it's called micro SD cards and they're cheaper than adding internal flash storage to the point you can buy one and the Switch for cheaper than if the Switch had more internal flash storage.

Fact is it's not being against more storage it's realizing the trade off for it you've refused to answer whether you'd pay 100-110 quid more for a Switch because you know you and most consumers wouldn't as it would be at an obscene price.

What do you mean "no space in the device"?

Micro SD fit ridiculous amounts of gigabytes, now approaching 512 gb, and you say the Switch flash storage can't be 64gb because of "no space"? And there is no way it adds more than $50 to the cost. Heck, by next year they can phase out 32 gb and sell 64 gb for $300.

And unlike us, Nintendo mass buys the flash storage, so they get it at a much lower cost than us. Same goes for many other electronics companies.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Are you even reading all the posts he's the one who brought up space and that was in regard to putting a HDD in the platform, it's like you looked at a few words and made up a post in your head, if 32GB isn't enough now then 64GB sure as hell won't be enough either he's talking about comparable space to other consoles which is 500GB minimum, to put things in perspective iPhones have 256GB at the moment and that contributes to them being 800 quid, these costs are based off the lower costs these companies get them for as well.
