That's a really weak excuse for HD space in a 9th gen console that's even smaller than the HD space in gen 7 consoles. Of course, if you only compare HD space in nintendo consoles, it might seem okay or at least the same as a wii u deluxe but it's definitely not enough for even 7th gen 3rd party games, much less 8th gen 3rd party games.

You should be able to buy and play any game with a new console without having to buy SD cards or external HDs.

Back to my main point "I hope that Nintendo eventually comes up with a NS SKU with a much higher internal HD to accommodate 3rd party devs/pubs who want to bring their games to the NS and gamers who want to play those kind of games without having to buy a miniSD just to play the game."

Switch is portable so unless you want to pay 100 or so quid more for more internal space SD cards are a given.

That's a poor excuse too. It's a hybrid console designed to play portable and home console games. It being semi-portable is not a good reason for terrible HD storage. It wouldn't cost anything near that to upgrade the internal HD. Nintendo is just being really cheap at the expense of it's consumers and third party devs to be honest. It could just release a SKU with a better HD for the ones who want more space and for the ones who want to play 3rd party games. I hope it does because it's the smart move and it's better overall for gamers who play games on the NS.
